The article is devoted to topical issues of bringing to administrative responsibility for the dissemination of fake news. Modern legislative regulation and law enforcement practice is analyzed in the considered legal sphere. The essence of the composition of administrative offenses is revealed which are listed in the Code of Administrative Offences Part 9, 10, 10.1, 10.2, 11 Article 13.15. The conclusion has been made about on the need to combine and balance the fundamental principles of freedom of the media and measures of responsibility.
