This article is devoted to the evaluation of the general theoretical scientific works of Victor Tsyganov on the question of development of legal technique views on elements of modern rule-making techniques. Using systematic and logical method, methods of description and generalization, the author of the article reveals a certain discordance in the general and sectoral understanding of the attribution of some phenomenon of legal reality to legal technique tools and concludes that there is a need for interdisciplinary legal technique studies, which will form the basis for the development of multi-layered and multi-element (normative, structural, documentary, linguistic, logical and cognitive-legal) sectoral legal technique tools.
