Abstract |
The article deals with the implementation of the principle of adversarial parties during the forensic examination. The article analyzes the use of so-called "independent" or "alternative" expertise, the institute of peer review in criminal pro- ceedings. Considering the implementation of the principle of adversarial parties in the appointment of forensic examina- tion states that to ensure equality of the parties at this stage of the criminal process is very difficult, so special attention should be paid to the procedural independence of the expert.
