The article considers the main problems of providing psychological assistance to the population from the standpoint of administrative legislation. The normative legal acts regulating the procedure for providing psychological services are analyzed. The conclusion is made about the fragmentary nature of the regulation of psychological assistance and the need for the adoption of a specialized federal law. The main problems that the future law on psychological assistance is designed to solve are outlined.
