The relevance of the research topic is due to the complication of the situation of Middle Eastern Christian minori- ties. The Russian Orthodox Church, whose activities are aimed at maintaining a Christian presence in the Middle East, is extremely concerned about the mass exodus of Christians from the region caused by various forms of persecution, mainly by terrorist organizations. The purpose of this study is to determine the position of the Moscow Patriarchate on the problem of persecution of Christians in 2011-2020 through content analysis of statements and speeches of the first persons of the Russian Orthodox Church and to determine what proposals the Russian Orthodox Church puts forward to solve it. Based on the data obtained, it was proved that, using the support of the Russian state and encouraging its in- volvement in the process of stabilizing the regional situation, the Russian Orthodox Church was the first among the Christian churches to respond to changes in the situation around Christians in the Middle East, urged the international community to cooperate on the protection of Middle Eastern Christians, as well as against Christianophobia and other forms of religious persecution.
