| The article presents the results of the research, the main methods of which were the method of continuous sampling, the comparative method, as well as the method of direct observation of the stylistic functions of metaphors in a literary text. The author interprets the individual author's metaphors used by D.L. Andreev to depict the worlds of Enlighten- ment, and also reveals metaphorical parallels that create figurative paradigms that are key to the cycle of poems «Worlds of Enlightenment». |
