| The article analyzed the nouns with the suffix -ost(-est)/-nost in abstract and concrete meanings. The purpose of the article is to show that the word-formation pattern is actively developing. This is proved by the large number of neologisms. They are represented by several semantic types: 1) the potential names with abstract meanings that fill the empty cells of the system; 2) the names of the objects; 3) collective nouns. |
