Abstract
The paper proposes new approaches to the semantization of vocabulary in teaching Russian as a foreign language in- corporating some provisions of the theory of linguistic conceptualization of the world. The study considers the funda- mental component of the methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language - the development of techniques for the formation of communicative-speech competence, ensuring the creation and understanding of statements in the unity of their linguistic and extralinguistic content. The article also discusses the correlation between the concepts of "znachenie" (meaning) and "smysl" (sense) in the works of specialists in speech psychology and modern semasiology. A methodolo- gy proposed by the authors helped to identify the paradigmatic and syntagmatic connections of words nominating con- cepts, cognitive features of concepts, which are reflected in the combined educational "Dictionary of the concepts of the Russian folk tales", the linguistic materials of which can be used in teaching Russian as a foreign language. The example of the concepts “Nevesta” (bride) and “Nevestka” (daughter-in-law) is used to illustrate the possibilities of using the materials of the dictionary for the semantization of lexical units that verbalize the corresponding concepts. The results of the study of the concepts were applied as didactic material in the practice of teaching Russian as a foreign language.
