The article examines the linguistic features of the representation of ethnogender stereotypes on the material of the text of the travel guide. The analysis of linguistic means of verbalizing gender stereotypes offered in the article is based on the proposition that the latter require a special approach for interpretation, including knowledge of cultural linguistics and ethnocultural studies. Considering ethno-gender stereotypes, the author of the article separately analyzes auto and heterostereotypes, and also highlights cross-cultural ethnic stereotypes. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that ethno-gender stereotypes are viewed through the prism of the author's cultural picture of the world in connection with the gender picture of the world.
