The article describes the main approaches to understanding jurisdiction, administrative jurisdiction, administrative-jurisdictional activity and administrative-jurisdictional process. The study showed that jurisdiction, in addition to resolving disputes about law and legal conflicts, confirming rights and obligations, also includes law enforcement procedural activities of authorized subjects. Since the features of disciplinary proceedings against civil servants, as an independent law enforcement procedure included in the structure of the administrative process, are similar to the main features of administrative and jurisdictional activities, there is every reason to consider the proceedings under consideration as a type of the latter. This approach will eliminate the discrepancies in the understanding of administrative jurisdiction, as a complex legal entity, and the corresponding law enforcement administrative-jurisdictional activity, which is a category of the administrative process.
