The purpose of this work is to study the state of the practice of bringing to disciplinary responsibility cadets of departmental institutes of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, some of the identified problems can also be attributed to the implementation of disciplinary responsibility in relation to practitioners of the penal system. In order to identify some problems, the author conducted a questionnaire and a survey of cadets of the Kuzbass Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia. In the course of the study, the following problems and patterns were identified and formulated:Subjective approach in determining the type of disciplinary punishment;The problem of the significance of certain types of disciplinary responsibility;The relationship of external factors on the state of disciplinary practice.
