Abstract
The article demonstrates the specific features of the pragmatics of the values use in the communicative process in the whole and, in particular, in the communicative situation “information warfare” realized in the manipulative texts of the Mass Media. The aim of the work is to study the features of the functioning of the axiological component in the framework of the implementation of various speech means that imply a manipulative effect on the recipient in the communicative space of political media discourse.
