The article considers medical life hack as a media genre in the Russian- and English-speaking information space. A comprehensive analysis of the content and structure of blogs on medical topics is carried out in order to identify their similarities and distinctive features in the two linguistic cultures under consideration. The following methods were used in the analysis of language material: hypothetical-deductive method, continuous sampling method, method of stylistic and contextual analysis. In order to adapt medical scientific knowledge in blogs, preference is given to widely used vo- cabulary instead of terminological one, as well as to reduction of the register of communication. The Russian-language medical life hack is characterized by an informal style, while the English-language medical life hack is found in both formal and informal styles.
