Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of changes in labor and labor relations in the modern conditions of the development of the information society. It was not the purpose of the study to identify all (in an exhaustive version) the directions of such transformation, therefore, the author reveals the most visible and significant trends in the ongoing changes under the influence of the digitalization process according to the content of the work. Mainly using such methods of scientific research as: analysis and synthesis, abstraction and generalization, based on the results of conducted sociological surveys, the author notes that distance work, platform and part-time employment, freelance work with a focus on increased wages are becoming more and more in demand in life. There is a natural and gradual digitization of many institutions of labor law, digital technologies are widely used and artificial intelligence is being introduced, cybersecurity issues are being updated, other new problems and controversial views on them appear. In this regard, Russian labor legislation will inevitably undergo changes in the future, as unambiguously as labor relations are transformed, and the legislator will have to define the concept of such changes, as is happening today with respect to the draft new law «On Employment of the population», while maintaining a balance of interests of all participants in social and labor relations.
