| This article is devoted to the discussion of election campaigns in the I and II State Duma of the Russian Empire in the church periodical press. For the first time, the materials of the magazine “Faith and Reason” show the attitude of a separate periodical of the Russian Orthodox Church to the institution of Duma elections, political parties, the role of the clergy in elections. The specifics of the approaches to the elections to the I and II State Duma are highlighted. |
