Abstract
Considering the facts that the commission of acts of family violence has an impact on the mental state of the victim (usually a woman), in many cases they remain latent, are closed from outsiders and even relatives and loved ones. However, having become a victim of domestic violence, women in certain cases are forced to seek medical help from medical organizations where it is possible to report abusers and acts of violence committed by them. The relevance of the research topic is determined by the fact that in healthcare organizations as places where victims of family violence, when disclosing information about the facts of family violence, encounter barriers and factors that prevent the transfer of such information. The purpose of this study is to study the perception and experience of victims of family violence when they transmit information about this to healthcare organizations, as well as to identify barriers and factors that prevent disclosure of information about the facts of family violence (a study of the experience of Russia and the UK).The methodological basis of the study was a dialectical approach to the scientific knowledge of social relations that develop when women disclose information about the facts of family violence, in which they encounter barriers and factors that prevent the transfer of such information in medical organizations, analysis of the identified barriers and factors, synthesis of the results obtained during the study, which allowed to submit proposals for their elimination. Among the special methods used in the study are the method of studying normative legal acts and documents, the empirical method, the method of data processing and analysis. The paper examined the statistical data of England and Wales, the scientific works of English scientists on the studied problems. The results of the analysis of the materials show that there are a number of barriers and factors preventing the disclosure of information about the facts of family violence in healthcare organizations as sources of information:the unwillingness of a significant number of medical professionals to receive information from victims of domestic violence about the facts of such violence;containing in the victim (emotional barriers);barriers related to partners;organizational barriers. Agreeing with the measures proposed by English scientists to overcome the identified barriers and factors, the authors also identified their own proposals for their passage.
