The article examines the features of the formation of epithets in the texts of M. Tsvetaeva. The subject of the research is the structural and cognitive models of the formation of sentences of attributive semantics in the texts of M. Tsvetaeva. The purpose of this study is to identify the potential of this type of vocabulary in the metaphorical modeling of meanings and the actualization of the attribute by the poet. The method of semantic analysis is used. In the course of the study, various mechanisms and tactics for the formation of M. Tsvetaeva's epithets are singled out, among which the figurative modeling of the indicative situation and the expansion of the epithet series take the leading place. Attention is drawn to the metonymic type of formation of figurative epithets in the various texts of the poet. As a result of the analysis, we came to the conclusion that the idiolect feature of M. Tsvetaeva is the attention to the actualization of indicative words in formal and semantic ways, reflection on the word.
