An analysis was made of the application of the rules of law by courts of general jurisdiction governing public relations arising in the field of public service, including the position of the courts regarding the rights and legitimate interests of civil servants. The research plan and its results are considered in the framework of litigation and court decisions of courts of various instances, based on the restoration of their rights by civil servants whose rights were violated in the course of official activities. Based on the materials of the study, the main errors in the application of the rules of law by courts of general jurisdiction are noted.
