The article discusses the various stages of the introduction of a moratorium on inspections carried out by control and supervisory bodies of executive power. The concept, meaning and consequences of introducing a moratorium on inspections are determined. Various reasons and legal grounds for establishing a moratorium on inspections as a special method of regulating control and supervision activities are considered. Both positive and negative consequences of establishing a moratorium on inspections are analyzed. It is concluded that the moratorium on inspections is a special method of organizing and conducting control and supervision activities. The authors define the moratorium on inspections as an objectively determined special regime for the organization and conduct of control and supervisory activities. The goals, legal grounds and signs of a moratorium on inspections are established as a special administrative and legal method for regulating control and supervisory relations. In conclusion, the authors propose amendments and additions to the federal legislation, which should regulate the moratorium on inspections as a special method of regulating the control and supervisory activities of executive authorities.
