The article discusses the organizational and legal aspects of ensuring the criminological security of the objects of the penal system, analyzes the most relevant areas for ensuring the criminological security of the objects of the penal system.The study of theoretical and practical issues of criminological security of the penal system allows the author to propose measures aimed at improving the organizational and legal aspects of the criminological security of objects of the penal system.The use of methods of induction, deduction, analysis and synthesis made it possible to formulate sound conclusions. The comparative legal method was used in identifying features and gaps in legal regulation, as well as in developing proposals for amendments and additions to laws and by-laws.Obtaining empirical material was carried out using a specific sociological method of questioning (questionnaires and interviews) of employees of correctional institutions.
