The rapid development of modern society necessitates the constant improvement of information and computing networks. The use of digital technology makes it possible to comprehensively solve the tasks facing the internal affairs bodies. The study highlights the administrative and legal aspects of the use of application services of the unified system of information and analytical support for the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (ASA of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia).The relevance of the research topic is determined by the fact that the issues of improving the information support of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation, as well as improving the effectiveness of the activities of the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia to ensure the protection of public order and public safety require special attention at the present stage.The purpose of this study is to study a number of aspects of the use of existing information arrays in the process of organizing and carrying out the daily and operational activities of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia using information technologies in their activities. The attention is focused on the service of ensuring the protection of public order, designed to automate the processes of organizing operational and official activities.The methodological basis of the study was a dialectical approach to the scientific cognition of social relations that develop when using the applied services of the ASA of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia., analysis of the identified factors, synthesis of the results obtained during the study, which allowed to submit proposals on the effectiveness of using the information contained in the applied services of the ASA of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Among the special methods used in the study are the method of studying normative legal acts and documents, the empirical method, the method of data processing and analysis. As a result of the study, a great potential for monitoring the application services of the ASA of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia was noted, using the example of analyzing the completeness and reliability of entering information on cases of administrative offenses, in order to take response measures to eliminate existing violations and prevent them in the future. The proposals for the maximum involvement of the existing information arrays of the ASA of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the process of organizing and implementing the daily and operational-service activities of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia have been identified.The described processes are conditioned by the need to increase the efficiency of the activities of the divisions of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation for the prevention of offenses, ensuring the protection of public order and public safety.
