The authors have identified and meaningfully analyzed legal situations entailing the issuance of a special ruling (court ruling) against a lawyer acting as a defense counsel during pre-trial proceedings and during a criminal case trial.The article systematically presents the legal relations developing in the sphere of the implementation of the constitutional rights and freedoms of participants in criminal proceedings, the provisions of criminal and criminal procedure laws, the norms of the Federal Law "On Advocacy and Advocacy in the Russian Federation" and the Code of Professional Ethics of Lawyers.
