The article is devoted to understanding the dialectic of creative principles and the liberal worldview of the Russian criminal process. The article comprehends the ideological origins of creative principles and liberal worldview in criminal proceedings. The paper establishes that the creative beginnings of criminal proceedings (criminal procedural activity) cannot be thought in isolation from Russian (Orthodox) freedom. They are unthinkable without effective national education, moral guidance and education conditioned by the national (Orthodox) spirit. The article substantiates the provisions according to which spirituality is a centrifugal force in the formation of the dominant motivation in criminal proceedings. As such, it is able not only to overcome the nonsense of the Russian criminal process, but also to form the creative beginnings of criminal procedural activity.
