In order to clarify the specifics of the functioning of the language on the Internet as one of the relevant communication platforms, as well as to detail the linguistic picture of the world of users of this network, the structural-semantic and content-conceptual features of the word-formation nest with the top forum are considered. The study is based on 29 forums texts forums that differ in subject matter (transport, real estate, pets, recreation, business, life within urban space, etc.). The main research method is descriptive method. The parts of speech presented within the family of words are distinguished; as well as productive ways of word formation and word-forming formants; typical objects of nomination and the signs that form the basis of the nomination; generalized meaningful models of word-formation chains. The issues of synonymy, variation, stylistic marking and functional loading of word-forming means are touched upon. The conclusion is made about the integral nature of the revealed construct.
