The article is devoted to the study of public administration in the field of public health protection in connection with the spread of infectious diseases. The purpose of the article is to identify meaningfully the problems of control (supervision) in the field of public health protection in connection with the spread of various infectious diseases. The goal was achieved with the help of general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, dialectical method) and the formal legal method. Analyzing the content of the legal literature, the current legislation, the author came to the conclusion that the problems of control (supervision) in the field of health protection in connection with the spread of infectious diseases are associated with the functioning of a significant number of bodies with such functions and, as a result, there is a possibility of cross-checks, the absence of a clear framework for inspections, which may lead to contestation of the results of control (supervisory) activities. Thus, it is required to clearly define the competence of these bodies in carrying out control (supervisory) activities.
