Abstract
One of the main factors for successful development of the Russian innovative organizations is the attraction and retention of highly qualified and highly motivated specialists who are ready to create, implement and promote new technologies, products and services. Due to the high competition for talents in the labor market and high requirements of job seekers and employees employed in the innovation field, it becomes especially important to identify the factors that make Russian innovation organizations attractive as employers and identify the ways for improving their personnel policy in attracting and retaining highly qualified specialists. Content analysis of 600 reviews of employees and job seekers about 30 leading Russian innovative organizations shows that the most important factors of their attractiveness as employers are professional management that demonstrates a loyal attitude towards employees, a good, friendly team, timely paid and regularly indexed wages, comfortable working conditions and opportunities for career and professional growth. These factors should be taken into account when improving the personnel policy of Russian innovative organizations, which, on the one hand, will allow them to retain existing employees for a longer period, and on the other hand, to attract new promising specialists.
