In modern conditions of development of various technologies, the information space is expanding and receipt of information occurs through not only print media, radio, television, and the Internet. The Republic of Tatarstan is a multiethnic region, where more than half of the population are Tatars. In the Republic in different areas of society are widely used two official languages (Russian and Tatar), in connection with which, along with Russian, and operate tatar language media, which actively uses the Tatar population. It is advisable to examine tatar language media on the subject of lighting ethno-religious issues in its publications. To do this, we conducted a content analysis of the print media and Internet resources. This article presents the results of an analysis of the print media, published for the period from 1 September 2020 to 31 August 2021. Because of the limited volume of the article, the results of the content analysis of the Internet resources are not included in this publication. To conduct a content analysis of us were identified three main themes: language, religion, ethnic relations, in which were analyzed 446 publications related to these topics.Every source of media has its own characteristics, the concept and objectives. Print media, depending on the edition (public or private) may differ with the views of certain information. We analyzed every printed source. According to the results of the content analysis of print media revealed that state Newspapers often highlight the positive developments of the people and religious events than individuals who, in turn, in order to increase the circulation can not provide reliable information and often cover events from a negative point of view, creating a public outcry. However, this trend is characteristic not only of private, but also of some state-owned publications, which are describing in more detail in this article.
