The review of the reports of the «round table» «Education and the labor market», conducted by the IS of the Federal Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in cooperation with the journal «Sociological Research», is presented. The quality of personnel training and their compliance with the labor market are the most pressing issues for employers in all spheres: those responsible for the production of «man» and those that produce space technology... The participants of the «round table» - scientists, teachers, practitioners - know the problems «from the inside», which allows them to give an objective assessment of the situation and suggest ways to solve them.
