The article proposes an original classification of the main types of clinical recommendations. For the first time, the term «format-genre concentric diversification» was used to designate the process of transforming the genre of clinical recommendations, and the dynamics of linguistic and format properties of the texts of clinical recommendations was described. It has been proven that new types of clinical guidelines are based on existing ones, are secondary and are concentrated around the main four types of clinical guidelines - for doctors, nurses, paramedics and patients.
