Intellectual property in the Internet environment is a rather vulnerable area. The presence of a large number of opportunities allows people to create new Internet materials/products/content/information, which, unfortunately, is also easily copied and distributed. Goal: to identify problems of legal regulation of intellectual property in the digital economy. Methods: deduction, induction, generalization, analysis of secondary information. Main results and conclusions: the article examines the current state of legal regulation of intellectual property. Current issues in the field of legal regulation of intellectual property are presented. Current issues related to the legal regulation of intellectual property are also listed. In addition, the factors and causes of violation of intellectual property rights in the Internet space are given. Possible ways of legal and technical solution or, at least, reducing the volume of the problem are presented.
