Abstract
The article discusses the problems of the pragmatic typology of question-answer adjacency pairs in phatic dialogical interaction in Russian. The purpose of the work is to consider question-answer adjacency pairs in Russian speech in the aspect of relations of illocutionary compulsion as a communicative coordination of the roles of communicants and replicas. The research material is contexts extracted from the Russian National Corpus. It is shown that the speech acts of communicants and the remarks that express them in the context of dialogic interaction can be illocutionary independent (their purpose is determined by the intentions of the speaker himself) and illocutionary dependent (their purpose is determined by the illocutionary purpose of any previous replica). Four types of pragmatic coherence of replicas in question-answer adjacency pairs have also been identified: coordination of replicas according to the illocutionary function; connection of the replica with the felicity conditions of the previous speech act, bypassing the content of the utterance; the direction of the remark on the presumption of the previous statement; a connection between replicas established on the basis of reference to conversational implicatures. It is concluded that at the level of communicative organization of dialogue there is a pragmatic consistency of replicas, but, in fact, according to the deep intentions of the participants in communication, true communicative cooperation may not take place.
