The article is aimed at studying the “Annals” of William Worcester as a source on the history of the Wars of the Roses (1455-1487). They were involved in scientific circulation back in the XVIII century, but have not yet received a comprehensive assessment by historians. The structure of the source is analyzed; four parts are distinguished in it. Each of them is considered from the point of view of content, completeness of coverage of facts, the ratio of objective and subjective, reflection of the author's position and other individual characteristics. The conclusion is made about the value of the “Annals” for studying the history of the Wars of the Roses, the content of unique information in it. At the same time, the Annals cannot be considered as a single source. They do not have a solid structure and are written by at least two authors.
