Abstract
Ideocracy is one of the key terms of classical Eurasian discourse (the 20-30s of the last century), characterizing the specific structure of the state, determined by a system of national myths, ideals, goals, values, priorities, worldviews formed on the basis of historical experience, culture and factors of the physical environment (landscape, climate, geographical location and other conditions that affect society and the state). The named complex of myths, ideas, and values not only explains the past and present of the state, revealing a list of urgent tasks and problems, but also directs its further evolution. The article investigates a typical American plan to preserve its own leading positions in the world through the destruction of the main ideocracies - the geopolitical opponents of the United States, which made it possible to create a modern unipolar world of American hegemony. The authors consider recent historical examples of depriving competing states of political subjectivity through the destruction of their national ideological complexes. The research work carried out made it possible to formulate a number of proposals for the restoration of the ideological core of the national statehood.
