The article outlines the author's view on the nature, concept and content of state control (supervision) in the field of ensuring state security, its tasks, types and subjects. The mandatory requirements that are the subject of this control (supervision) are characterized, individual proposals are contained for improving the legal regulation of control and supervisory activities in the field of ensuring state security, and the main topics for further scientific research on this issue are identified.
