The article is devoted to the implementation of the state policy in the field of ensuring food security in Russia. Rospotrebnadzor and Rosselkhoznadzor do not have the authority to identify falsified products, there are also no specialized structural units whose powers would include the identification of offenses related to the production and distribution of food products, the composition of which differs from the indicators indicated in specialized documents. It seems right to create such departments based on the internal affairs bodies, Rospotrebnadzor and Rosselkhoznadzor. The Administrative Code of the Russian Federation does not provide for a separate article establishing administrative responsibility for the production and sale of falsified food products. The study allowed us to substantiate the conclusions about the need to introduce as a separate provision - Part 3 of Article 14.7 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation a norm establishing administrative responsibility for the production, movement across the customs borders of the Russian Federation, storage and distribution of falsified food raw materials and goods. It is proposed to consolidate food security as a type of security in the law «On Security».
