The civil law regulation of public relations is implemented through legal norms that develop into legal structures. The formation of a legal structure is not a spontaneous process, but is conditioned by certain legal prerequisites. The article analyzes the conditions that determine the formation of the composition of the legal structure of the mechanism for regulating relations arising within the framework of property (civil) turnover. The significance of the study is related to the need to identify the prerequisites affecting the composition of the legal structure in order to effectively and efficiently regulate legal relations, as well as to prevent the inclusion of norms in the legal structure that contradict the essence of the legal relationship. According to the results of the study, it was concluded that the subject composition, the type of object of civil rights in respect of which the subjects act, influence the specifics of regulating legal relations. The subject composition, the objectives of the actions of participants in property (civil) turnover, the legal status of subjects of rights, the legal regime of objects of civil rights, as well as other circumstances act as legal prerequisites for the formation of the composition of the legal structure of the mechanism of civil law regulation of a specific civil legal relationship.
