This article discusses a new field of research for Russian medicine, namely biomedicine. It has been established that the use of regenerative medicine in the field of healthcare significantly prolongs life and restores health qualitatively. Since regenerative medicine is a developing field and the legislation does not establish a legal definition, the author aims to explore questions about the understanding of regenerative medicine, as well as to identify the mechanism of administrative and legal regulation of this area. The article also analyzes related concepts such as biomedicine, genomic technologies and their role in the healthcare system. A range of normative acts regulating these public relations is being established. It is concluded that there are circumstances in this sulfur that require resolution, both from the point of view of medicine and from the point of view of the mechanism of administrative and legal regulation.
