The article examines the process of transition of a noun into a class of the category of state based on the material of the form of a verbal noun in a relationship. The purpose of the study is to analyze the stages of lexical and semantic grammatical changes. Such linguistic facts are located in the syncretism zone (AB) on the V.V. Babaytseva transitivity scale: the periphery of the noun (A), intersecting with the periphery of the condition category (B). The process of grammatical transformation of adverbatives is one stage greater than that of typical (specific) nouns. As the leading research method, the method of structural and semantic analysis by V.V. Babaytseva is used, which involves the study of the conditions, causes and results of grammatical transformation. Microdiachronic analysis allows us to trace the development of a linguistic fact from the moment of its appearance to the current state (tendency to development or extinction: according to the NCRE) - within an insignificant period: 25-15-10-5 years.
