Abstract
The paper describes the representation of the obsolete vocabulary in the «Definition Dictionary of the Russian Col- loquial Speech» (ed. L.P. Krysin) as the experimental lexicographical product. The obsolete vocabulary extracted from the issues from 1 to 5 published from the period 2014-2022 is analyzed. The continuous sampling method is employed. The obsolete vocabulary under the analysis encompasses a lengthy historic period: from the pre-revolutionary epoch up to XX and XXI centuries. The most numerous bank of words consists of the Soviet period vocabulary among which the sovietisms stand out. The dictionary compilers use the label уходящ. for the first time in the lexicographical practice. They use this label alongside with the label ист. (for historic words) and the label устар. (for archaic words). The label уходящ. tallies the words which undergo the process of deupdating and moving to the usage circumference. Both archaic and historic words belong to the outgoing vocabulary. The indication of the outgoing character of the words is found in the three zones of the dictionary entry. The obligatory indication is in the stylistic label zone (STYL), the optional archaic indication is in the definition and examples zone (DEF) and in the pragmatic zone (PRAGM). The materials of the dictionary can be of special interest from the point of view of studying the Russian language dynamic processes.
