The report materials of the industrial practice of students of the All-Union Communist Agricultural University named after Y.M. Sverdlov for 1935, containing information about their work at agricultural enterprises in the Moscow region, are analyzed. The general state of these organizations is shown, the problems of their economic development and social contradictions in the village are highlighted. Conclusions are drawn about the role of students of the specified university in the modernization of the agricultural sector of the USSR, their specific contribution to the resolution of pressing issues of collective farm construction is noted.
