The article is devoted to the issue of improving the qualification requirements for officials of control and supervisory bodies of executive power in order to combat corruption. The author comes to the conclusion that the basic requirement of a state inspector's knowledge of anti-corruption legislation is not enough to effectively prevent corruption in the activities of control and supervisory bodies of executive power. It is noted that the current qualification requirements do not meet modern challenges in the field of anti-corruption, as they are formal in nature.
