The key archetypal motif of «home» is considered in the text of N. Abgaryan’s literary work «Three apples fell from the sky», where the philosophical and ethno-cultural idea of home is associated with the national specifics of «home», as well as with the author’s special, personal understanding of «home», in which the strength of the established structure of life is important. The material for analysis was the lexical representations of the concept «home» used in the novel by N. Abgaryan. The main research method is philological analysis of the text (semantic-stylistic and contextual techniques). The originality of the individual author's understanding of «house» is explored - one of the most iconic elements of the culture of the Marants, where traditions are learned and preserved, the connection between generations is carried out: «home» is not limited to the everyday spatial image, it is used in the meanings of «dwelling», «household», «family», as well as «country» (represents not only a group of relatives, but also all residents of the country), «small homeland»; the lexemes «country», «Maran», «Manish-kar», which are in synonymous relationships, on the one hand, with the lexeme «home», and on the other, with the lexemes «family», «clan», express ideas about the most important cultural values; participate in the formation of an artistic picture of the world. The home acquires a figurative and symbolic meaning - among the implicit means of representing «home» is a description of such a connection between a person and the home, which induce a state of peace, happiness, tranquility, warmth, fullness, a sense of regularity of being, inseparability with the Fatherland, a feeling of life not as a given, but as a gift.
