Abstract
The parameters of blood serum structural macro picture have been investigated for patients with dysproteinemia, lipidemia and practically healthy people. A direct correlation has been found between the blood serum albumin content and the edge zone width of the dried drop. The content of ?1, ?2 and ? globulins was directly correlated with the intermediate zone size. The content of ?-globulins (immunoglobulins) is directly related to the central zone size of the dried drop. At lipid and lipoprotein deposition the dried drop intermediate zone disappears for the patients with hyperlipidemia. On the basis of the results obtained using dyes, which are traditionally applied in biochemistry and histochemistry for determination of proteins, the localization of different types of proteins has been determined in the dried drop of blood serum.
