In the theory of administrative law and administrative procedure, the problem of definition, characteristics and role of the judicial control in the administrative sphere in the system of administrative law remains virtually unresearched. In this article, the author's definition of judicial control is formulated, its features are identified, and a comparative legal study is made of such adjacent legal institutions as administrative justice, administrative jurisdiction, administrative legal procedure, and judicial supervision.
