| An analysis of theoretical research into the phenomenon of confessional social work is presented. Various sociological concepts for investigating the functioning of social institutes are discussed. Confessional social work is viewed as a particular social institute, the result of interaction of the institutes of church, social ministry, charities, welfare, and professional social work. |
