All the data published so far on thermodynamic characteristics of atactic, isotactic, syndiotactic, hemiisotactic
and stereoblock polypropylene have been summarized. Missing data on heat capacity of syndiotactic polypropylene
in the range 6?455 K and the energy of combustion for hemiisotactic and stereoblock polypropylene at 298.15 K
have been obtained calorimetrically. The relationships between the thermodynamic properties and characteristics of
polypropylene synthesis reactions and the polymer structure, physical state, and temperature have been revealed at
standard pressure.
