| Main principles of the foreign policy led by the Romanian President I.Iliescu in 1990-1996 are considered.
I.Iliescus main goal was to make his country a member of the EU. However, there were many difficulties in this
way, therefore the Romanian President tried to develop relations with the USSR (later, with Russia) and with
NATO. |
