| Romania - EU relations before the opening of adhesion talks in 1990s are considered. The main goal of Romanian
Presidents I.Iliescu and E.Constantinescu was their countrys adhesion to the EU. However, there were many
difficulties in this way, therefore the talks on Romanias adhesion to the EU started only in February 2000. |
