Abstract
The sorption of some heavy metals from solutions of their salts by higher fungi and chitin of different origin in in vitro experiments has been studied. The comparison of sorption ability of the objects studied makes it possible to recommend the most efficient enterosorbent as a preventive agent against negative effects of heavy metals upon the human organism as well as an agent delivering biologically active substances prepared by supercritical fluid extraction to a target organ.
