Abstract
Phase relationships in binary systems Cs2Mo2O7 - Nb2O5 (Ta2O5) are studied using differential thermal and Xray phase analyses. Incongruent melting (in the system with Nb2O5 ) and congruent melting (in the system with Ta2O5 ) compounds of compositions CsNbMoO6 and CsTaMoO6 are shown to be formed. Polymorphic transformations occur in both compounds. The enthalpies of melting and polymorphic transformation of the compounds found have been estimated.
